MSU-Bozeman Presidential – full tuition + stipends renewable – deadline January 5, 2010
Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation – dollar amount varies – deadline October 31, 2009
Elks National Foundation Legacy Awards - $4000 for 4 years – deadline January 8, 2010
Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student – local state awards $200-$1000 – national $1000-$15,000 per year for four years – deadline November 2, 2009
Wendy’s High School Heisman Award – dollar amount varies – deadline October 1, 2009
MSU-Bozeman Premiere – dollar amount varies – applies toward tuition only – deadline as soon as possible – available only for a limited time

Attention Seniors: If you plan on attending the College Fair at MSU-B on September 22 at 8:30, you need to register at www.mpseoclogin.com. Be sure to print the bar code page when finished and take that page with you for admission and scholarship drawing.

Career Center students: There is a food cart available for breakfast and lunch at the Career Center. You can use your meal accounts or pay cash.

The Wendy’s High School Heisman Award honors both male and female students who excel in academics, athletics and student leadership. Any senior who has at least a 3.0 grade point average and participates in at least one school-sponsored sport is eligible to apply. Go to www.wendysheisman.com for more information and to apply. Early applicants will receive a free Wendy’s gift card from $5-$50.

Evening high school forms are in! Please see your counselor immediately to sign up.

Falconeers please sign up for our Open House. Sign ups are in the Counseling Center. Open House in on Thursday, September 10.

Homecoming T-shirts will be on sale during both lunches. Cost is $12.

Masa, the Japanese exchange student, is still looking for a host family in the Heights. If you have an extra room and would like to share American culture while learning about Japan, please see Mr. Gottula n Room #214.

Skyview students: Do you or an organization want to be in the homecoming parade? You must have an application filled out and turned in to Room #232 by Thursday, September 17th by 8:00am. Applications are available outside Room #232. Absolutely no floats will be allowed in the parade without having an application turned in. No exceptions!

There is a BPA meeting on Wednesday after school in Room #131 for all members who are working at Saturday Live.

Homecoming Dance! Celebrate the end of Homecoming at the Homecoming Dance following the football game on Friday, September 18. Be sure to get your ticket before or after school in the Activities Office or during lunch in the Commons. Tickets are $5. Get yours early to guarantee you get a ticket!

Hey Key Club members: Don’t forget the meeting NEXT Monday, September 14th at 3:10 in Room #211. We will be discussing Saturday Live and other upcoming service events.

Seniors: The National Guard is having a ROTC Leadership Symposium THIS Saturday, September 12th. This is a great opportunity to find out about how ROTC can help you pay for your college and lead you to a career. If you want to reserve a spot call 671-3654 or come see your counselor.

Representatives from Duke, Georgetown, Harvard, Penn and Stanford will meet with interested students and parents on Thursday, September 24 at 7:30 at the Hilton Garden Inn 2465 Grant Road.

Students interested in the Naval Academy can meet with admissions representatives in Bozeman, September 19th at 2:00pm to 4:00pm, Comfort Inn Banquet Room 1370 N. 7th Avenue.

Notre Dame invites students/parents to an information program on Thursday, September 24th at 7:00pm at Billings Central Catholic High School Library.
