Students’ Announcements for April 27, 2009
Tryouts for the Cheer, Stunt Team and Mascot will be April 28th-30th. Instruction will be Tuesday, April 28 and Wednesday, April 29 from 3:30-5:30pm. Judging will be Thursday, April 30th from 4:00-7:00pm and posting will be Friday, May 1st at 12:00pm.
Seniors: The scholarships available have been updated. Check with your counselor for more information.

ACT – June 13 is test date – May 8 is registration deadline
SAT – June 6 is test date – May 5 is registration deadline
Seniors: As you receive scholarship awards please bring in your award letter to your counselor so you can be recognized at the awards assembly May 18th at 7:00pm.
Registration for the summer sessions of driver’s education is in the main office. The fee of $190.00 must be paid at the time of registration. Enrollment is also available on pay schools and the form is available on Skyview’s website along with the district’s website.
Seniors: Stop by Mrs. Barta’s room, #131, to sign up to help with the Master Lube fundraising day on May 16th. Money benefits the Falcon Finale.
Rodeo Club will be raffling a Tie-Quilt. Tickets will be sold during both lunches just outside the main office or can be purchased also from Mrs. Davis in Study Hall or Mrs. Green in Room #148. Tickets are $1 or 6 for $5. The quilt will be on display in the main office. Drawing is May 4th, just in time for Mother’s Day.
Attention seniors who attended Lockwood School for a minimum of two years: You may be eligible to apply for a $500 scholarship from the Lockwood Unit of the Montana Education Association. You must have a 3.0 grade point average or better and a letter of reference. Deadline is May 1, 2009. Get an application in the Counseling Center.
STUCO scholarship applications are available in Room #232. They are due April 30th.
Trading Card applications for next years group are available and due by Tuesday, April 28th. You can pick up an application from Ms. Kress, Mrs. Moore or Mrs. Bertsch in the activities office.
Open gym for boy’s basketball will be Mondays 7:00-8:30 and Wednesdays 5:30-7:00.
There will be a Falconeer meeting on May 7th, at 2:45 in Room #203. We will be talking about t-shirt orders, tye-dying, and plans for next year. If you haven’t filled out an application do so ASAP. Service to your community starts right here at Skyview. Good for resume’s and scholarships.
Open gym for girls’ basketball starts Monday 5:30-7:00 and Wednesdays 7:00-8:30.
Attention all Thespians/Drama types: There will be an important meeting for all drama club members and all those who have an interest in joining drama club or thespian troupe next year Tuesday from 3:00-4:00 in Room #224. See Mrs. Snow if unable to attend.
There is a Key Club meeting today after school in Room #208.
Mr. Skyview candidates: If you are submitting a video of your talent, it is due tomorrow. Also remember that we have rehearsals at 5:30pm in the theatre on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Attention students and faculty: Get your tickets now for the first-ever Mr. Skyview competition. You can purchase tickets for $5.00 in Room #103 or #131. There are 21 candidates vying for the title; come join the fun on Thursday at 7:30pm in the theatre!
